Last night’s High Table offered a delightful change from tradition.

Instead of the usual Formal Dinner, Fellows and Guests enjoyed a relaxed make-your-own pizza evening in the Master’s Garden.

Beyond the seminar rooms and conference spaces, our gardens and green spaces offer something equally important, a place to pause, reflect, reconnect, and truly unwind.

For centuries, these paths have inspired some of the greatest minds. Alumni, including Charles Darwin and John Milton once walked these same gardens, pausing to take in the very views our students and guests enjoy today.

Whether you’re gathering for a conference, hosting an event, or simply seeking a moment of calm away from the pace of everyday life, there’s a timeless sense of perspective here, where history, nature, and ideas quietly meet.
