Celebrating Sue, our Climate Champion this ๐
A huge thank you to Sue for her leadership and dedication to encouraging a more sustainable school community.
Her commitment to climate change advocacy and the green economy is a driving force behind her work as a Geography teacher, and an inspiration to us all.
Our students are using art, metaphor, and creativity to articulate the urgency of climate action.

Sunshine and smiles with our Young Carers ๐
Before half term, our Young Carers made the most of the beautiful weather with an outdoor meet-up.
We were thrilled to welcome over 10 new members to the group, while also bidding farewell to our amazing Year 11 students as they begin their next chapters. ๐
Students enjoyed a brilliant afternoon of football, netball, giant Jenga and Connect 4, as well as snacks provided by the school. โฝ
It was a chance to celebrate everything that makes this group so special. ๐ซถ

There were plenty of smiles as shirts were signed, and we took a special walk through the school and grounds. ๐๏ธ
We finished by recognising the dedication and achievements of our students and staff.

Could you provide a loving home to a child in need? ๐
Around 1% of school pupils (over 700 children in Cambridgeshire) are looked after by foster carers or live in childrenโs homes.
Cambridgeshire County Council hopes to recruit more local foster carers to provide safe, caring homes for children and young people in our community. ๐
Fostering locally means children can maintain consistency in their lives.
It means they can continue attending their schools, stay connected to friends, and keep important relationships that help them thrive.

How one student solved a real-world medical supply issue ๐๐คฉ
Weโre proud to celebrate Year 10 student, Tom, who recently used his engineering and 3D printing skills to solve a problem.
When a private hospital pathology lab needed replacement sample racks, but couldnโt source suitable ones, they turned to Tom.
With Tomโs passion for engineering in mind, the Cambridge lab sent him photos and measurements of the broken racks.
Tom set to work, designing a solution and printing it on his 3D printer.
He eventually produced five fully functional racks for the lab! ๐ฅ
The hospital team were incredibly impressed and shared their thanks with us. ๐ซถ
We are so proud of Tom's dedication and innovation. He is a fantastic example of the talents nurtured at our school.๐
