Trumpington Park Primary School

Trumpington Park Primary School Welcome to our school. We are a friendly, vibrant and multi cultural school close to Cambridge.

With work now underway to build the new primary school building, Trumpington Park Primary School is due to open in September 2017. Trumpington Park Primary School will be a three form entry school providing nursery and primary school places growing to 630 pupils between the ages of 4 and 11 years old. It will also provide early years education and free education funding entitlement for two to four-year-olds. Initially there will be 60 places available for children entering reception class. The new school will be run by the Cambridge Primary Education Trust (CPET) – a Trust which comprises an experienced group of local primary schools including Histon & Impington Infant School, Histon & Impington Junior School and Hatton Park Primary School. The school will also work in close partnership with Parkside Federation Academies, who run Trumpington Community College, and the local community.

We have loved having our children back in school this week and being excited about our new classes. Year 6 had to be very patient when using their mathematical knowledge to create mystic roses. They look absolutely beautiful!

One of my favourite evenings of the year is my annual trip to Grafham to see the Year 6 children and enjoy the Grafham Challenge. The children and staff had lots of fun and enjoyed cooling off on the way around. Laughter and memories for all, the children are making us proud. From Mrs Shute
