Central Language School Cambridge

Central Language School Cambridge English language courses in city-centre Cambridge, UK. Full-time and part-time courses for adult stu

British Council accredited, teaching English to international students in the heart of Cambridge. Central Language School is a small, friendly, city-centre School founded in 1996 by a group of Christians in Cambridge. Our aim is to give you a warm welcome and an excellent opportunity to learn English in a caring, community atmosphere. Our general English courses, from Elementary to Advanced level, are run throughout the year for adults with a minimum age of 18. The School is just three minute's walk from the bus station and near many restaurants, shops and the colleges of the University of Cambridge. Students from more than 90 different countries have studied with us and there is usually a good mix of nationalities in the school. Our school is accredited by the British Council who inspect the classrooms, the teachers, the administration and the homestays regularly.

What a difference a bit of rain makes!! Picture 1 was taken in late August after months of no rain in Cambridge and Picture 2 the same view today only a month later. Grass is still a bit patchy but looking more like the green that our students expect to see when they come to UK 🇬🇧 🌧 We do still need a lot more rain actually 😅😅

We are welcoming 8 new students to the school this week. It was a glorious day as we showed them around Cambridge 😎

WE ARE 30 YEARS OLD!!!! Central Language School started with just 1 student in September 1996 - we have continued teaching countless students English over these years! We thank God for His goodness! If you have been connected with the school and you are not too far away, come and celebrate with us on 17 October. It will be a wonderful opportunity for reunions with former students, staff and homestay hosts🥰 Please forward this to former students you know.

Goodbyes to Janusz, Kaho & Lulu - congratulations to each for their time on our English courses!
