Wonderful morning on The Bowl Workshop last Saturday. Using chicken wire and floral frogs, everyone's design was slightly different, and all beautiful! Watch out for the next bowl workshop in the Autumn - think berries and blooms.

Day One of Beginners Wedding Floristry Course was a great success looking at garden inspired bridal bouquets, buttonholes and wrist corsages. Lots of questions - and lots to think about! Tomorrow we start on the table designs. Just a taste of wedding floristry! Onto the Professional Wedding Floristry Course in September next.

An area of floristry where you can be creative, producing a design that means so much to your customer. One of our favourite areas to teach and to work in, with lots of different mechanics and methods to learn, we really recommend that new florists take the time to understand funeral flowers. Upcoming courses in July and November.

Cascading table designs are popping up a lot this year and it's a great mechanic and design to learn. Once you know the mechanics you can incorporate them onto bars, tables, chairs and pillars, the options are endless!
