Statement from Her Excellency Dr. Isatou Touray

The public is hereby informed that Her Excellency Dr. Isatou Touray, former Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia, will formally launch her candidacy as an Independent Presidential Candidate for the 2026 Presidential Election.

The launching event is scheduled to take place at the SSP Grounds in Brikama, West Coast Region, on Saturday,27th June 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to attend and witness this significant occasion.

Are you interested in construction? But don't know where to start?

We are running a female only construction club over the summer holiday for girls who may be interested in the construction industry.

Club will be running from the 22nd of July to the 27nd of August every Wednesday and Thursday from 10am - 3:30pm.

Do you want to spend your summer making friends, and learning valuable construction skills?

We are running a summer club every Monday and Tuesday from 20th July - 25th August from 9:30am - 4pm.

Young people will be working together under the guidance of our tutors to build a shepherd's hut! This will also build a wide range of construction skills, whilst working towards a large goal that they can be proud of achieving.

Construction at the Arbury Social cafe has reached the painting stage.

Not only did one of our learners completed a day of onsite work experience, with our team at the Meadows Centre, but he also used this real-world environment to complete a painting assessment for his L2 Property Maintenance qualification.

Progress has been on our big cafe project.
A young person gained valuable onsite experience.
And an practical assessment towards a qualification was completed.
