Clare Bar is located in the iconic crypt of Clare College (Old Court), where you are always guarenteed a warm atmosphere, friendly faces and cheap drinks
We are open during term time 7 days a week from 19:00-23:00 Set in the crypts of the chapel, and with staggeringly low drink prices, this is arguably the greatest of Cambridge's many bars. Varsity certainly thought so, awarding Clare Bar "Best S

the le****ns are at it again! Sexy singles, l***y lovebirds, q***r friends, enemies, ex’s and all the murky in between stages, join us to launch Queen’s Bats’ Ribcage with a valentines rager. E. Crowley’s new play dares to ask the age old question - who makes breakfast after the th*****me? But for now - it’s the night before the morning after, so let’s discuss it over a hangover. Come party with us in love and solidarity lovely gay people, and if you’re married (no i’m not resentful) take your wags for dinner then come dance with us. With the insane ceiri and lorna dj’ing, fundraising for the Trevor project and the kite trust. Last entry at 10pm. Link in bio.
acccessibility:
There is step-free access (but not full wheelchair access) via a secondary route and 15 standard height steps to the main entrance. There is basic seating, an accessible toilet, and a gender neutral toilet. There isn’t a BSL interpreter, a designated quiet space, or general car parking.
The venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to fire safety restrictions, we apologise.
