Pa Kua School UK Pa-kua provides a family oriented learning environment that encourages physical, mental, and spiritual growth. Pa-Kua is for everyone - Pa-Kua is for you.

Pa-Kua is an international school of martial arts established in 1976, where we teach a system based on multiple styles and ancient Chinese knowledge. We offer a unique approach which emphasizes family atmosphere, personalized attention, acceptance of all people, and individual evolution. The knowledge and practice of Pa-Kua aims to make one better today, than we were yesterday: we believe we are constantly evolving both internally and externally. By besting our own self we gain self-esteem and encouragement to continue perfecting our own potential. There are several ways to reach the same goal: choose the one that suits you, your personality, and start practising.

"💥🏋️‍♂️ It is common to confuse enthusiasm and motivation, but understanding the difference can make all the difference in your pursuit of results. 🎯

Enthusiasm is that initial energy, the impulse that moves us to start something new with excitement and fervor. On the other hand, motivation goes beyond enthusiasm. It is the inner force that drives us to continue even when things get tough. 🚀🌟

In the training journey, motivation is essential. It brings us resilience to face challenges, helps us overcome obstacles, and keeps us firm in our purpose. 💪🌟 Additionally, motivation brings with it the happiness of knowing that we are progressing, that we are getting closer to our goals, step by step. 😊💥

So, remember: cultivate motivation in your training. Find what inspires you, what makes you get out of bed every morning with a smile on your face, ready for another day of challenges and achievements. 💪🌟

Energy vortices or pressure points are points on the body known for accumulating energy - they are the same used in acupuncture. In our energy pathways, there are more than 367 of these points, in addition to extras. 🌀

In martial art, these points play crucial roles. They can be used to relax the opponent, decreasing their strength or causing pain. ⚔️💥

Some people do not feel pain (yin) at certain points, while others feel too much (yang). This usually indicates a deficiency or excess of energy, and we will talk about the influence of elements on this. It is possible to harmonize these points through self-massage, as well as sedate them (by pressing) or tone them (with light taps). 🌱💆‍♂️

In Pa-Kua, we work with this concept for use in self-defense and also to harmonize our body in daily life. Did you like it? Schedule a class to meet us and learn more!

🌟💪 In Pa-Kua, the journey goes beyond physical movements. Here, we encourage our students to develop the psychic and practical ability to see themselves internally, taking the example of the whole and everyone. 🔄✨

In this path of self-discovery, we seek to transform the negative into positive, learning from each challenge and overcoming obstacles with determination. 🌈🥋 Students are guided to notice their innermost strengths and become their own harshest critics, while always recognizing their achievements and admiring each step of their evolution. 👣💖

It is a process of constant growth, where authenticity and self-acceptance become the foundation for full evolution. 🌱💫 Shall we go together on this journey of self-transformation? 💬✨

With movements and postures of the body, along with meditations, the student can find harmony between body and mind. The tuning class allows the practitioner to look inward and see themselves as they truly are. 💫🧘‍♂️ The movements tone and strengthen the body 💪 and promote lean muscle development. Stretching exercises increase flexibility, protect the body from injuries, and promote a greater range of motion, while breathing exercises oxygenate the body and regulate heart rate, as well as the entire cardiovascular system. 🏃‍♂️🌬️

In the class, the student learns techniques to relieve stress. In the study, one learns to understand others while each tunes in with the rest. The practice of Tuning is a harmonious interaction between us and the universe. 🌐🙏

Depression is a medical condition that can severely affect people's lives, causing feelings of sadness, hopelessness and lack of energy. Pa-Kua Martial Art can be a useful tool to help combat depression, as it can help improve emotional well-being and mental health.

Practice can help improve mood and self-esteem, as physical activity releases endorphins, which are chemicals that promote the feeling of well-being. In addition, with training, the person feels stronger and able to deal with challenges and stressful situations.

Another benefit of Martial Art for those suffering from depression is that the practice can help promote social connection and a sense of community. Participating in a Pa-Kua school can allow a person to make new friends, feel part of a group and share experiences with other practitioners.

Martial art can also be a useful tool to help deal with the stress and anxiety that often accompany depression. Practice can help develop self-control and concentration skills, which can be helpful in dealing with stressful and anxious situations.

It is important to remember that Martial Art or other physical exercise is not a substitute for medical treatment for depression. However, it can be a useful tool to complement medical treatment and help improve emotional well-being and mental health. It is always important to talk to a mental health professional before starting any physical activity or complementary treatment for depression.
