Best Start Family Hubs are coming to Cambridgeshire this September!

From the week beginning 28 September, five Family Hubs will launch in Cambourne, Ely, Huntingdon, Wisbech and Cambridge.

Child and Family Centres will become Best Start Family Hubs, bringing trusted local services together with more support for families.

Cambridge City Launch event:
📆 Monday 28 September
🕑 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 6pm
📍The Centre, Campkin Road, CB4 2LD

⭐10.30am - Story and Rhymetime
⭐11am - all things Arts & Crafts
⭐1.30pm - Sensory play
⭐ 3.40pm - A bucketful of songs

Could your child now be eligible for Free School Meals?

Families who receive Universal Credit can now apply for Free School Meals for their child, regardless of household income.

If your child already receives Free School Meals, you don't need to do anything.

If you think your child could now be eligible, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

🎉☕ A Morning of Fun, Cake & Community! ☕🎉

We're excited to be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on 1st October, 10am-2pm, at Meadows Community Centre.

There'll be something for everyone:

🎨 Face painting by Olivian
🫧 Bubbles
🪄 Magic
💃 Disco fun
🐵 A crazy monkey puppet show
🍰 Plenty of cake, coffee and treats!

A huge thank you to our entertainers, who have generously donated their time and talents free of charge to help make this event special. All entertainment is completely FREE, helping us raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

Come along with friends and family, enjoy the entertainment, grab some delicious cake, and support an incredible cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.
