Hey guys, PAs here 💃✨️
We have had so much fun arranging events for you and look forward to holding more!

Tuesday and Wednesday: Punting and Croquet, Cambridge classics that we run weekly.
Thursday: Bracelet making to celebrate friendship day!
If you have any suggestions for activites, come see us at the Helpdesk, and we can look into it!
Have a lovely weekend! ☺️

Now presenting a PA’s Guide to Pembroke!
In this first episode, Gabriel talks through Pembroke’s special claim to fame; its gatehouse being the oldest of any Cambridge college.
Something is coming. Martlets are stirring in their nests, and the bell of the Pembroke Library tolls ominously. What awaits the PAs beyond the horizon?
Sit back as Gabriel, one of our PAs, introduces you to the 4 Mill Lane site! This building, which is located in our Dolby Quarter and was renovated in the recent Mill Lane Redevelopment Proiect, serves as the heart of the Programme’s operations!

It's graduation day at Pembroke!
Before embarking to Senate House, where the historic ceremony takes places, the praelector advises the students on how to bow to the vice-chancellor who bestows their degree.
At Cambridge, the colourful capes signify the degree:
Fluffy white hoods: BA
Dark green: MBA
Light blue: MPhil
Hot pink: MB/BChir
Red: Masters/ Doctors
And more!
If you are out in town today, feel free to congratulate them 🎉🎉🎉

Yesterday, The World Cup made an appearance in the first Plenary Lecture of the summer, delivered by our College Master, Professor Polly Blakesley, inside the Auditorium of our Dolby Quarter.
Her presentation, titled ‘Cultural Connectivity in a Fractured World’, explored how cultural engagement in unfamiliar places can lead to energising challenges and unexpected professional paths. 🎓
This year also marks the beginning of Professor Blakesley’s involvement with the Pembroke Summer Programme since her appointment as Master of Pembroke in October 2025!
