Started my new job yesterday, back as a full time employee. I’ve loved the past 4 years of doing my own thing, but the time was right for a new challenge. Enjoying the last week of wfh as I will be office based from next week!

Feeling stuck? Maybe even struggling a bit?
It’s not because you’re failing — it’s because you’re learning.
You’re in the uncomfortable growth zone. And yes, it can feel awkward!
Many high-achievers fall into the same patterns when their confidence wavers. I know because I’ve been there too. No title or achievement made those doubts disappear — in fact, sometimes they made it worse.
But here’s the thing: confidence isn’t something you’re missing. It’s something you can cultivate with the right mindset and actions.
Here are three gentle shifts to help you move forward:
1**. Instead of trying to “fix” yourself, focus on self-trust.**
You don’t need to be “better” before you take action. You are already enough. Trust yourself to figure things out along the way.
2. Instead of waiting for the “right time”, start with small steps.
Clarity comes from action, not overthinking. The first step is the hardest, but it sparks momentum.
3. Instead of doing it all alone, allow yourself to receive support.
Confidence isn’t built in isolation. The right encouragement can make all the difference. You’re not meant to figure everything out on your own.
Which of these shifts resonates most with you today? Drop a comment below — I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Today, I want to celebrate all the mums out there and share my story.
Recently, I celebrated my mum’s 76th birthday. I brought cake to her care home, sat by her side, and listened as she shared stories — some real, some from a time long past and some completely made up. I smiled as she chatted about seeing her parents, gone for decades, and nodded when she spoke of driving a car we sold years ago. I consciously stayed in her world’ every moment, even when she mistook me for an old friend she once danced with.
Dementia may change our reality, but it can never diminish the love we share. For those juggling work while caring for a loved one, I see you. Carrying the weight of sadness when seeing someone you love in such an altered state, while still showing up every day for others, is no small feat.
So today, as we honour mothers, let’s also show compassion to those quietly navigating their own challenges. Real life happens to all of us, all the time. Be kind. 💜

Finding Your Confidence: It Starts Within 🌿
Not all self-doubt is a bad thing. Sometimes, it’s just a gentle nudge from your subconscious, trying to get your attention.
Maybe you’re under-prepared.
Maybe you need more information.
It’s a signal — a little warning ⚠️ — to help you get things in place so you can perform at your best.
But other times, self-doubt is just plain annoying. When it comes from a lack of self-trust, that’s where the deeper work begins.
So, what is confidence really made of?
Psychologist Dr. Barbara Markway breaks it down into three key ingredients:
✨ Courage
✨ Competence
✨ Self-compassion
I’m especially fascinated by that third one. When I start working with clients, this is often where we focus the most.
We’re so good at showing compassion to others. We make time for them, we lift them up — yet when it comes to ourselves? We’re often our own harshest critics.
That inner voice? It can be brutal.
The expectations we set? Unrelenting.
But here’s the truth: Self-compassion is not self-indulgence.
It’s the foundation of true confidence.
You already have the courage — look back at all the times you’ve shown it before (yes, it’s there!).
You’re already competent — after all, you’ve learned so much to get to this very moment.
Now, it’s time to embrace the compassion piece. Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to grow, to stumble, to learn.
Confidence isn’t something you’re born with — it’s something you build. And it all starts with giving yourself permission to begin. 💫
