Today marks the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough – a true champion of the natural world and an inspiration for everything we do here at Burwell House.
To celebrate, our Year 3 and 4 visitors have been fully immersed in the outdoors. This morning, they became nature detectives, exploring our grounds in search of signs of wildlife. This afternoon, they’ve been sneaking around as foxes in a map-based scavenger hunt – learning about habitats, behaviour, and the importance of our environment in a fun, hands-on way.
Days like today remind us just how valuable outdoor learning is in helping children connect with and care for the world around them 🌍
Happy 100th birthday, Sir David Attenborough – thank you for inspiring generations past, present, and future.
