St Faith's is the largest and, to many, the leading independent co-educational prep school in Cambridge.

One of the highlights of life at St Faith’s is our Buddy programme, where Year 8 pupils spend time with younger classes leading activities, sharing skills, and building meaningful connections.

For the final session of the year, everyone enjoyed an afternoon of outdoor games and fun. It was a heartwarming opportunity for younger pupils to thank their Buddies and wish them well as they move on to the next stage of their journey.

Can you believe we're already halfway through the summer holidays?

Whether you’ve been travelling, exploring closer to home, or simply enjoying a well-earned break, we can’t wait to hear all about it and look forward to welcoming everyone back to St Faith’s soon.

On the last day of term, we were delighted to present our Sports Awards to pupils in Years 3–8, recognising their hard work, dedication and achievements throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to all our pupils – whether you participated, won an award, demonstrated outstanding teamwork, or showed excellent sportsmanship. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

A special thank you also goes to our teachers, coaches and families for their encouragement, commitment and support, which helps our pupils thrive both on and off the field.

Well done to everyone for making this such a fantastic sporting year. We look forward to even more success, teamwork and enjoyment in the future!

Congratulations to one of our pupils, who won the 2024 Young Fossilers Competition with his entry to The Etches Collection Museum!

As part of this fantastic achievement, his winning fossil was exhibited throughout 2025 at three renowned museums along the Jurassic Coast:

📍 The Etches Collection Museum
📍 Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre
📍 Lyme Regis Museum

Earlier this academic year, he kindly brought part of his fossil collection into St Faith's, giving fellow pupils the opportunity to see his discoveries up close and learn more about palaeontology.

Congratulations to our Year 8 English award winners!

Presented by Head of English, Ms Morris, these awards recognise outstanding achievement, commitment and enthusiasm for English.

Of course, these successes are a reflection not only of our pupils' hard work, but also of the passion, dedication and inspiring teaching of Mrs Burke, Mrs Switsur and Ms Morris, who nurture a love of language and literature in the classroom every day.

While it was cooler outside, our Pre Prep children enjoyed an outdoor activity around Southfield, answering questions and looking back on everything they have learned and experienced this year.

During the Summer Term, our Year 3 pupils worked with clay to create their own 3D tiles. After carefully shaping each design, they brought their creations to life with a beautiful gold finish and glitter.

We're sure you'll agree that the finished pieces look absolutely stunning!

Before heading off for the summer, our Year 8 leavers gathered in the Headmaster’s garden to sign each other’s shirts, creating lasting mementoes filled with messages and good wishes.

After enjoying a delicious BBQ, pupils received their leavers’ hoodies, marking this important milestone in their St Faith’s journey.

While we're enjoying the summer holidays and making the most of the sunshine, we're reminiscing about the refreshing pool at The Leys School, Cambridge.

From swimming lessons to exciting House competitions, our pupils make great use of this fantastic facility all year round.
