Recently, 46 of our pupils competed at the U12-U14 East Area Athletics Championships at Bedford International Stadium, joining athletes from 53 schools across the region.

Our hurdlers delivered an outstanding performance, with all six reaching the finals and four qualifying for the National Finals. Perhaps that's why St Faith's has unofficially been referred to as ‘the hurdling school’ by many!

Overall, pupils achieved 22 medals, set 8 new school records and secured a Championship Best Performance! Ten individual athletes and one relay team qualified for the National Finals, with 12 pupils now heading to Birmingham in July. We wish them every success!

What a wonderful evening at the Old Fidelians vs Parents’ Tennis event this Tuesday at Latham Road!

A fantastic mix of friendly competition, great sportsmanship, and a relaxed social atmosphere made it another highlight in the OF calendar.

Huge thanks to Mr Nichols for organising such a brilliant occasion, and to everyone who came along—whether playing on the courts or cheering from the sidelines.

Celebrating over a decade of Engineering at St Faith’s!

A popular highlight of our Engineering programme is our Goblin cars, designed and built each year by teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils.

Last week, despite the sudden downpour, we marked the end of the year with a special celebration, welcoming families to watch the four cars in action.

A brilliant afternoon and a fantastic achievement by all involved!

In Year 3 Art, our pupils have been exploring a new medium by working with clay, getting hands on as they carefully shaped their own unique 3D tiles. They showed great attention to detail, painting each piece a beautiful gold before adding a final touch of glitter.

At St Faith’s, Engineering is taught from Year 3 by specialist staff as an integral part of our STEM curriculum. In Year 7, our pupils take on the Box Project, a creative challenge to identify a real-world problem that can be solved using one simple object: a box.

From clever storage solutions to imaginative inventions, their ideas came to life as they built cardboard prototypes.

Year 8 brought their £5 Charity Challenge to a strong finish at breaktime yesterday, completing their second and final in-school trading session.

Thank you once again to our Year 8 families for your invaluable support behind the scenes, and to the wider school community for helping make the challenge such a success. All funds raised will be donated to two important causes: a Cambridge music project that supports access to instrumental learning for underprivileged children, and the SOS Project in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa, which provides essential food for families.

Miss Herbert's Reception class recently presented their class assembly on what they have been doing throughout the year.

They shared how they make their arms strong with dancing to get ready for writing and how they learn through songs and rhymes. They also enjoyed showing pictures from their recent work on Springtime and the seasons.
