Cambridge City Council’s Cultural Services team are partnering with internationally renowned contemporary dance company, Vanhulle Dance Theatre, to bring a dance performance opportunity to young people ages 11-18 from Cambridge. No previous dance experience is necessary, and all levels are welcome to apply.
Rehearsals will take place Tuesday 25th August - Friday 28th August at the Clay Farm Centre with the main performance at the Out of the Ordinary Festival, Christ’s Pieces, on Sunday 30th August.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on Friday 31st July.

Kettle's Yard is running a free monthly creative workshop in Cambridge for young people aged 16 to 24 who care for someone at home. It’s a calm, artist led space, with food provided, and friends are welcome too.
The monthly sessions run on Saturdays 11am-2:45pm in the Clore Learning Studio at Kettle's Yard. The workshops this month are on Saturday 13th June and Saturday 27th June.

The Mayor's Day Out is back on Tuesday 11th August!
Join the Mayor of Cambridge, on a day out to Great Yarmouth, famed for its beautiful seafront, traditional shops and cafes and Golden Mile of sandy beach.
This day out via coach is for Cambridge City residents aged 55 and over.
Tickets cost £10 and now available at the Clay Farm Centre (cash only please). Tickets are also available to purchase from the Meadows Community Centre, Brown's Field Community Centre and online: https://www.camcityevents.co.uk/events/mayors-day-out-2026

You can now borrow blood pressure monitors (BPM) by using your library card at the Clay Farm Centre library and other libraries across Cambridgeshire.
Any library member aged 18 or over can borrow a monitor for three weeks – or five weeks from our mobile library. It’s free, and you don’t need a GP referral. To borrow a monitor, simply speak to a member of staff. Availability is first come first served.
