We are a vibrant community centre in Trumpington, home to a library and café, as well as hall, studio, and meeting rooms for hire.

Did you know we have a fridge filled with refreshments at Clay Farm? There are cans and bottles of soft drinks, chocolate, crisps and muffins available and can be paid for by cash or card at the reception desk. Take a look next time you visit us!

Children's author A J Freeborn will be at Clay Farm this month!

On Saturday 29th August at 11am, join the author of Freddie the Eagle for a special reading of her newly released book, followed by a book signing and craft activity.

Drop-ins are welcome on the say but we would appreciate it if your could sign up for a free place at the library reception desk beforehand so we have an idea of numbers.

Parents and carers must stay with children at all times.

Clay Bear has read his fourth book for the ! After telling our wonderful volunteer what he thought of the book, he received his next sticker! He also received a Summer Reading Challenge exclusive edition of Storytime magazine - you'll be able to get one too when you tell our volunteers about your fourth book!

Our staff and volunteers are available to do sign-ups, hear about what you've read and present you with your next sticker at the following times:
- Mondays 10am-12pm
- Tuesdays 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
- Wednesdays 10am-12pm
- Thursdays 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm
- Saturdays 10am-12pm

Join us at Trumpington Pavilion tomorrow afternoon, 4pm-6pm for a free hot dog tea (vegetarian options will be available) and fun activities. There will be sport-related activities outside on the field as well as crafts and Lego available too. Food will be served from 5pm.

Applications for the Tier 2 of Cambridge City Council's Resettlement Community Grants Fund (RCGF) are now open!

This grant funds activities that support people displaced by war, conflict, and persecution.

Don't forget FREE school uniform for local primary schools is available in the library thanks to Trumpington Kids Clothes Hub! The rack will be regularly topped up so please come and help yourself to what you need any time the library is open.

Next week FREE coding taster sessions are available at Clay Farm!

The morning session is full but there's still space on the afternoon session at 1pm on Friday 21st August. The sessions are beginner-friendly 90-minute introduction for coding for people aged 6-14.

Book your free place at the Clay Farm reception desk before the spaces are gone! Please note that a parent/carer must stay with the children at all times.

There's still lots going on this summer at the Clay Farm Centre and Trumpington Pavilion!

Wednesday 12th August, 4pm-6pm
Free hot dog tea (vegetarian options will be available) at Trumpington Pavilion and fun activities on the playing field.

Tuesday 18th August, 2pm-4pm
Free creative crafts suitable for ages 5+ in the cafe area.

Friday 21st August, 1pm
Free 90-minute coding taster session that is a beginner-friendly introduction for coding for people aged 6-14. Talk to a member of staff at the library reception desk to book your place. Please note the morning session is now fully-booked and a parent/carer must stay with the children at all times.

Monday 24th August, 10:30am-1pm
Crafts and activities in the Eva Hartree Hall followed by a free lunch supplied by Cambridge Sustainable Food at midday. All are welcome, children are served lunch first. The Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute and Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination will be joining us with an activity.
