💙💜 Sending love and support to Adlia from Theatretrain Maldon! 💜💙

💜 SUPPORTING OUR WONDERFUL ADLIA 💜

One of our lovely Theatretrain Maldon pupils, Adlia, is currently facing something no 15-year-old should ever have to face.

Earlier this year, Adlia was diagnosed with thymoma, an extremely rare cancer of the thymus.

Following surgery in August, it was discovered that the tumour is Stage 3, and she will shortly begin nearly six weeks of intensive Proton Beam Therapy.

Anyone who knows Adlia knows what a bright, talented and creative young person she is, with a huge passion for music, art and theatre.

We are incredibly proud to have her as part of our Theatretrain Maldon family. 💜

The wonderful team at The Royal Oak,Hazeleigh, Maldon are helping to raise money and show their support for Adlia and her family.

🚶‍♂️🚴‍♂️🛶 LUKE’S 42 MILE CHALLENGE
On Tuesday 29th September, Luke will be taking on an incredible 42-mile walk, cycle and kayak challenge along the Blackwater Navigation.

Then on Saturday 3rd October, there will be a special fundraising day at The Royal Oak with:

🔨 Auction
🎯 Games
🍴 Food
💜 Plenty of fun for everyone!

Any donation, however big or small, would mean so much, and donations of raffle and auction prizes are also being gratefully received.

💜 We’ll also have a collection bucket at Theatretrain Maldon tomorrow morning and again next Saturday, kindly provided by The Royal Oak. You’ll find it by the noticeboard inside the school, so if any of our families would like to make a cash donation, however big or small, it would be very gratefully received.
