I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer holidays which have definitely flown by!

I am back tutoring weekly sessions from Monday and unfortunately this will be my final year tutoring so I won't be taking on any new students.

I have some exciting news that I will be starting a new job very soon working as a Tutor within a prison as well as still working as a SEND tutor for the local authority. I have spent my summer studying for a diploma in SEND which I have nearly finished and this month I will also be starting my 3rd year of my maths degree.

Please message me if you have any questions about lessons and if you'd prefer to move this week's lesson to during the day on Tuesday/Wednesday due to inset days then let me know. I am also happy to delay lessons until next week to allow your child to settle back into school if they need it.

I'm looking forward to my final year privately tutoring year 11s through their GCSES.

Lessons during the summer holidays:

I will be tutoring throughout the summer holidays however only on certain days/times. These will be posted weekly on my page and I will also be sending out availability if you wanted lessons during the holidays.

Please note that I won't be tutoring 20th-28th July and 28th August-2nd September.

I still have availability for new students throughout the summer holidays to do booster sessions where I will cover the most important topics and these will be aimed at year 10/year 11 students to prepare them for GCSEs.

It's been a really rough 6 month juggling back to back infections and hospital admissions for my youngest son Reggie who finally had surgery Friday morning to remove his Tonsils, Adenoids and insert grommets into his ears.

I have had to cancel lessons quite last minute due to him coming home from nursery unwell, lots of Dr's visits and on one occasion I've had to cancel half way through a lesson after the Dr told my husband he needed to go straight to hospital due to an infection spreading into his hip joint.

Going forward I'm hoping that he will be unwell a lot less and I won't have to be cancelling lessons as often.

Due to the last 6 months of family life stress and juggling the balance of an unwell child and work, I have thought long and hard about my tutoring during the evenings. Unfortunately I will be stopping tutoring naturally over the next few years. I won't be taking on any new students and I only be continuing with my current students until they have all finished their GCSES. For those that have mentioned carrying through to A-level, I will also 100% be doing that as I am looking forward to some A-level tutoring.

These sessions will focus on the most important areas and any areas where you feel like your child might need some extra support.

Hey,

I just wanted to give some dates in advance that I won't be tutoring due to exams that I have for University. Apologies if this affects your lesson and I will do my best to move you to another date/date.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter and are ready to resume lessons this week.

Unfortunately I will no longer be taking on any new students for private lessons in the evenings. This will be for the foreseeable future due to increasing my working hours during the day working for the local authority tutoring children that cannot attend school.

If you already have a weekly slot then that will remain and I am always happy to fit in extra lessons for year 11 students.

Half Term Lessons:
