IfM Postdoctoral Awards: Recognising Excellence in Research, Teaching and Academic Citizenship
Following the successful pilot scheme for Postdoctoral* Awards in 2019, the Institute for Manufacturing is running the IfM Postdoctoral Awards for the second year. Nominations can be submitted in three categories; Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Research and Excellence in Academic Citizenship. More information and the online nomination form can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/IfMPDA2020. Nominations are open until 07 September 2020.
Any University of Cambridge staff or student can nominate a Postdoc by filling out the online nomination form which is designed to be fast and fuss-free. The recipients of the IfM Postdoctoral Awards will each receive £250 and a free ticket to the IfM Christmas dinner (if it takes place). The winners will be announced by Head of the IfM, Prof Tim Minshall, during the Annual Celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week in September.
Thank you very much for helping acknowledge the exceptional contribution made by Postdocs to research, teaching and academic citizenship at the University.
*Research Assistants (who have passed their PhD viva voce at the time of nomination), Research Associates, Senior Research Associates and Principal Research Associates
