Our lovely college nurse Debbie is running drop in sessions in the nurse's room for all students for the next 3 Tuesdays from 5-8PM.

If you have any concerns or wish to talk to her about something, feel free to use these drop in sessions as and when you need them.

We hope you are having a wonderful start to the Easter Term and are enjoying the slight pick up in weather recently.

Mental Health Awareness Week is coming up on the 9th to the 13th of May. The university is running a series activities during this week to promote better understanding of mental health issues and look at ways to rest and relax when you need some downtime.

Many are only half an hour long and occur at lunchtimes, so may be a good chance to stretch your legs and have a break.

There was a recent Sidfess raising concerns about the condoms in the post room, so here is some information about the condoms we provide!

Firstly, all condoms we provide are tested to ensure they are safe to use and carry the kitemark and CE marks on the back. This means they have been tested and meet the British and EU standards for condoms, as they are deemed a medical product. If used correctly they should be safe.

We provide 5 types of condoms:
Pink packet are regular size (size: 190mm x 56mm)
Bright green packet are regular ribbed, dotted and flared (195mm x 53mm)
Green/brown are snug fit (Size: 180mm x 49mm)
Blue manix packet are latex free (Size: 180mm x 53mm)
Gold packed are extra large (Size: 196mm x 56mm)

When choosing a condom size is very important as it being too large or too small can lead to it falling off or breaking. Take as many from the post room until you find one which is a good fit.

Just a reminder there's free pizza in the bar tonight at 7:15! (8:30 for fasting students)

You just need to turn up - no need to order :)
We will be giving a pizza per 3-4 people at first to make sure everyone gets some and if there's some left over it will be first come first served
