A ‘spotters guide’ to identifying corporate psychopaths💼
ARU researchers have developed a new guide to help organisations recognise the behaviours linked to corporate psychopathy.
These are people with psychopathic traits who wield dangerous amounts of power in industry and government; it's important to be aware of the traits these people hold.
The guide brings together existing research into a practical resource that highlights traits such as manipulation, lack of empathy and unethical decision‑making, showing how these behaviours can influence team dynamics and overall organisational wellbeing.

🍼 Looking to deepen your knowledge of lactation and infant feeding?
Our Human Lactation module is designed for healthcare professionals who want to develop specialist knowledge, build confidence in practice, and enhance their career opportunities.
But don't just take our word for it – here's what our students have said:
💬 "I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and learned a huge amount throughout. The content has kept it interesting and informative and developed my knowledge and confidence in the world of lactation."
💬 "I felt the course was incredibly interesting and I learnt so much."
💬 "I have been really enjoying the course so far! There is a lot of content to work through, but compared with colleagues who have recently completed a different course with only one study day per month, I feel this course offers far greater depth and feels much better preparation for practice and the IBCLC exam."
💬 "I have learned a great deal and significantly expanded my knowledge, which has already been beneficial in my infant feeding role."
💬 "I have also recently accepted a position as a midwifery lecturer where the knowledge I have gained in this course will be extremely valuable in that role."
Whether you're looking to advance your clinical practice, support families more effectively, or prepare for professional accreditation, this module can help you take the next step.

New tool launched to help online abuse victims.
A ‘first of its kind’ approach to helping victims of online child abuse have their images removed from the internet is being launched at a major UK conference.
The initiative is designed to give survivors more control – helping to track and remove harmful content, support recovery, and ensure their voices are heard in the justice system. It reflects a growing shift towards putting victims at the centre of the response to online harm.
With online abuse continuing to impact millions globally, innovations like this are a vital step towards better protection, support, and long-term change.

🚀 Could nuclear power cut the journey to Mars in half?
New insights from ARU explore how is investing in nuclear propulsion to revolutionise space travel - potentially reducing the trip to Mars from over six months to just three or four.
By generating far more energy than traditional chemical rockets, nuclear technology could make missions faster, safer, and more efficient, while helping protect astronauts from prolonged exposure to cosmic radiation.
With a nuclear-powered mission already planned for later this decade, the future of deep space exploration could be nearer than we think… 🌌
