I’m a fully qualified, corporate employment and business immigration solicitor with over 15 years legal experience and multiple honours and awards. I’ve worked with one of the world’s largest employment practice groups and global top 20 law firms, as well as two ‘top 200’ law firms and a strong regional firm. I’ve been responsible for developing an entire service line which has meant cultivating long lasting relationships, where clients have chosen to instruct me, time and time again. Currently, I exclusively focus my time as a postgraduate law lecturer and professional and personal development coach. I’m trusted and used by one of the UK’s leading law schools. Whilst I do largely work with solicitors, it’s not just solicitors who I work with, but any professional who wants to better themselves. My mission is simple – to develop people, into being the best versions of themselves – personally and professionally and to live life with balance, joy, health and happiness.

So how conscious are you? Could you be better? Everyone
There are many things out of our control (what other people think of us, how other people behave, the past!!, what happens around you), but one thing is for sure - how we react is 100% within our control. It’s not always easy, I agree - but it is a choice how we react and behave.

It also takes time, training, support and reflection - so be kind to yourself as you try to change and become more conscious.

Need some help - join me in 16 days where I’ll be delivering a life changing course on ‘Improving your personal and professional life with emotional intelligence’ - you’ll see why it’s being coined the skill of this century!

For more info/to book your place contact me at [email protected] - I’d love to have you there and to support you through this journey.

Education, knowledge and sharing is my absolute passion.

I love learning and understanding new things and I love nothing more than becoming a better version of me each day and to pay it forward by sharing the knowledge I’ve learnt!

So here I am broadening my stress knowledge with the College of Naturopathic Medicine, whilst Alex takes his afternoon nap - it’s the first time in a long while where I’ll be sitting an exam!

Stress is part and parcel of life, and as our stresses and life circumstances change, we have to learn to find new techniques to cope and adapt - we only have to look at the challenges Covid and Brexit has brung us.

I can, I will, watch me …. A positive mind is an incredible tool … watch the language you are using. Tip - talk to yourself like you would your son/daughter/niece/nephew - you’d be telling them … if you can dream it and think it - you can do it - let’s remove some of the useless filters we inherit in adulthood 🤍

💫 Vision board and 2023 goal setting 💫

By request, here are the key areas I’m choosing to focus on:

🤍Career & Business
🤍Family & Friends
🤍Health & Fitness
🤍Personal Development
🤍Home
🤍Fun, Recreation & Hobbies

I’m asking myself, where do I want to be:
💫come December 2023?
💫in the next 5-10 years?

This helps me to create long term and short term goals and it also starts to give me ideas for my quarterly goals and targets - I.e. the small steps I actively need to take, to make sure I succeed.

Hope this helps. If you’d like some help with your own vision and goal setting, I’m doing 30 minute calls on zoom and FaceTime to help. Just comment with the word THRIVE below and let’s set a time and date up. The world really is your oyster. Start creating your future today … because in the winter we grow our roots.

Timely motivational quote whilst planning 2023 goals and considering how they align with my vision for myself and my family in five years time 💫

Not sure what you want? Or where to start? Pop me a DM - I’d be very happy to help you achieve. The important thing is that you take time out now to breathe and to think it through.

This one is very close to my heart because I teach this so often in my postgraduate classes!

If I’ve taught you - you may have heard me talking about a car. Are you driving the car knowing what kind of direction in? Or, are you driving aimlessly around, wasting time, money and energy? Or even worse, are you a mere passenger letting someone else drive you to goodness knows what location? 🚗

I’ll share another secret … most people set their 2023 goals close to or on NYE - the truth is - the best time to do it is now! Doing it now gives you time and space to think about what you really want to achieve and why. The why part is super important. If you don’t have a strong enough why - you may be tempted to give up and lose focus, especially when you need to get things done in pursuit of that goal.

If you need help goal setting for 2023 - follow my page - as I’ll be sharing more tips these next few days and weeks. Please also feel free to DM. 🤍
