This week the children have been fascinated with the life cycle of a frog. They have learned new vocabulary, shared sensory experiences and were engrossed in learning about the different stages of the development of a frog!

One of our incredible practitioners recreated a Van Gogh masterpiece through a messy play invitation, and honestly… WOW. Watching the children explore colour, texture, and creativity in such an open‑ended way felt like stepping right into an artist’s studio.

It’s amazing what happens when little hands meet big inspiration — art becomes alive, curious, and wonderfully messy. 🌟

🐝 The children at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road had a buzzing time exploring the world of bees and celebrating World Bee Day. From creative crafts to learning about pollination, they loved discovering why bees are so important. A wonderful mix of fun, curiosity, and nature‑inspired learning. 💛🌼

Today at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road, we celebrated the rich diversity within our community. As we celebrated International family week.

Our dedicated practitioners dressed in their national attire, proudly representing their unique cultures and traditions. The children were immersed in a vibrant, joyful atmosphere filled with colour, music, and learning.

We enjoyed a spectacular showcase from Brazil, as Criss led the children in lively music and dance sessions, accompanied by a beautifully themed tropical tuff tray that sparked curiosity and exploration.

Malavika shared elements of her Indian heritage, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to experience traditional clothing, cultural objects, and stories that highlight the beauty of India’s traditions. She also showcased magnificent Indian dance moves.

The sun is shining and our children have been busy transforming the garden. With tiny hands and big enthusiasm, they’ve been planting a beautiful mix of flowers and vegetables — learning, exploring, and getting wonderfully muddy along the way!

From digging and watering to choosing seeds, the children are building confidence, teamwork, and a love for nature. We can’t wait to watch their garden grow just as quickly as they do 🌼🥕✨

Using nothing but clay, sticks, stones and leaves, they explored textures, shapes and their own imaginations and the results were incredible.

The preschoolers at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road have been igniting their imaginations through a variety of experiments. Embracing the theme of the great outdoors, our young explorers have brought extinct volcanoes back to life.

St George’s Day has been full of fun at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road, with a wonderful range of sensory and physical activities from our baby room right through to our preschoolers. So much joy and discovery today.

The team at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road recently came together for a well‑deserved team‑building evening, sharing food, laughter, and time together outside of work. This followed a highly successful INSET day, where staff from all three nurseries took part in robust, meaningful training designed to enrich our knowledge and strengthen our practice.
