Children, particularly young ones need simplicity. What that means they need days and times in a day when they can relax and process what they are talking in.

When that’s lacking and they become overstimulated which might manifest itself in different ways they need our support.

It’s important to observe our children. Their behaviour is often a communication. What might look like tantrums and bad behaviour could be a sign of something else.

Aggressive behaviour always worries parent, educators and everyone around. But it a normal respond for young children.

When conflict arises we often feel like we should resolve it.

Do you find yourself saying❓:

“Please share” “Sharing is caring” “It’s his turn now” “She is younger, give it to her”.

This unfortunately doesn’t teach children to genuinely share, often making them resent the other person, have tantrums or simply learn they should give up what they do for others.
