Do you know what this is?

This is not just 'His Majesty's Theatre'.
This is not just the auditorium to a theatre over 120 years old.
This is not just 'Home to Phantom in London's West End'
This is not just the view our students will have in January.

For our children this is
The opportunity of a lifetime.
This is a memory that will last forever.
This will be a defining moment that will shape their future in ways that we can't yet see.

EVERY. SINGLE. STUDENT. at PQA Cambridge has the opportunity to perform in this magnificent theatre in the heart of London's West End in 2027. Many professionals aim for this their whole career.

Not only that, but all of this: the experience, the camaraderie, the training, hard work, effort... it all goes into making this amazing and beautiful thing happen, and we LOVE that we get to be a part of making these memories for hundreds of young people from little old Cambridgeshire.

We are thrilled to announce the Adjudicator for our Monologue Slam on Saturday 20th June is the wonderful DANIELLE TARENTO!

What a fantastic opportunity for our students, we cannot wait!👏

Danielle is a freelance producer and casting director. She won Best Producer at the Off West End Awards 2012, was nominated Producer of the Year at the Stage Awards 2015 and was listed as one of the top ten producers of Musical Theatre in 2016 in The Stage.

She is co-founder of the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Danielle has worked extensively in theatre across London, the UK and internationally. Her productions include a new production of Jonathan Larson’s tick, tick...BOOM! for China, the multi award-winning Titanic the Musical, which played its 10th Anniversary UK and international tour in 2023, The Bodyguard, West Side Story, Chicago, Evita and Grease for the Ljubljana Festival, Slovenia, plus tens of productions at the acclaimed Southwark Playhouse including Benjamin Scheuer’s The Lion (also in the US, South Korea and Japan), the UK première of Dave Malloy’s Preludes, The Woods by David Mamet, the UK première of Grey Gardens, Tony Kushner’s adaptation of Brecht’s Mother Courage And Her Children, Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Allegro, Grand Hotel, the UK première of Dogfight, Gods And Monsters, Anya Reiss’s adaptation of Chekhov’s Three Sisters, Mack & Mabel, Victor/Victoria, Parade and Company.

As well as producing, Danielle teaches at several prestigious drama schools. She is proud to be Vice-Chair of the National Youth Musical Theatre and a trustee of Mercury Music Development.
