One Young World is a UK-based not-for-profit organization with over 13,500 ambassadors worldwide. Each year, it gathers thousands of young leaders for the One Young World Summit to develop solutions to the world's most pressing issues.
OYW also hosts a number of small conferences throughout the year. This year, the OYW Cambridge team hosted their first ever OYW Cambridge Caucus on the 12th of March 2022! It was a day of inspirational speakers and workshops to engage students in OYW and act as a think-tank for students to discuss social action projects, including climate change, racial justice, access to education and women in STEM. The Caucus welcomed a variety of participants, including students, academics and business leaders.
We are recruiting two OYW Cambridge Co-Presidents to lead the society over the academic year 2022-23. The role will include recruiting a Committee, disseminating information and organising events throughout the year, and leading the organisation of the One Young World Cambridge Caucus 2023. You will also be connected and working closely with the One Young World HQ team at London.
Applications are open to students of all disciplines across the University of Cambridge at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Other Committee positions will be recruited later on in the year. Follow our social media for more updates!
💡 APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY 8 MAY 2022, 11:59pm 💡
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, but final decisions will be made after the application deadline. Committee handover will take place at the end of June 2022.
