Patacake Day Nursery

Elena is celebrating her 2 year anniversary working Patacake.

This week in the Toddler room, we have been exploring volcanoes. The children have taken part in activity where they created their own volcano using bicarbonate soda and vinegar with food colouring.

Ewa is celebrating her 5 year anniversary working at Patacake.

We are so proud of Karen for passing her level 3 childcare qualification; Karen is a now qualified room leader.

We are so proud of Anne-Marie for passing her level 3 childcare qualification; Anne Marie is now a qualified practitioner.

We are thrilled to announce 5 stars on our inspection today.

𝗔 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆.

We would like to share some important updates with you. Kelly, the nursery manager will be stepping down from the manager's role on the 31st January to care for her son. James (currently the Deputy) will be stepping up to take on the managers role from 1st February and Philippa (currently 3rd in charge) will be stepping up to take on the Deputy managers role.

Charlie is celebrating her anniversary of working at Patacake for 5 years.

The children have been learning how to make biscuits from what ingredients they have to use and then what the process is to make them. The children then explored the different rolling pins and cutters as they designed their on biscuits.
