A Self-Serving Leadership: Lessons from 1 Samuel 24:1-2

In 1 Samuel 24:1-2, we read about King Saul’s relentless pursuit of David, whom he perceived as a threat to his throne. The passage states, “Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to look for David and his men in front of the Rocks of the Wild Goats” (1 Samuel 24:2). What’s striking about this story is that Saul’s expensive pursuit of David was not driven by a desire to protect the nation, but rather to satisfy his own personal vendetta, using the nation’s resources (army).

Reflection: What leadership principle motivates you most or you think can make someone a good leader?

Full Switch™️ Research Consultancy Programme 2024 | Code-Switch Consultants 25/12/2024

I am super elated 🥰😍 for this Christmas Gift to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: as a Research Consultant with Full Switch™️ Research Consultancy Programme 2024 from Code-Switch Consultants!

This is another wonder of God for the year 2024 to grant me the grace to kickstart all the visions He has given (and keeps giving EVERYDAY) to me.

My sincere and unreserved (please don't mind my adjectives/grammar, it's just how happy I am) appreciation to the Doctoral School, especially the Deputy Director, Charlotte Nevison for giving me this opportunity absolutely FREE. It didn't come cheap (as it is a great course that took 6 months of rigorous research, tackling real-world consultancy challenges, combining my research expertise with hands-on client projects to deliver impactful results), but I got it for FREE.

This is another remarkable value I'm getting from Anglia Ruskin University that's made every penny I've paid to the university more than worth the while. Like my supervisor Mike Wilby beautifully put it during this year's Annual Review, "Andrew has been pro-active in seeking out and undertaking research training. He makes full use of what is available at the university, and I'm impressed with how engaged he is with this." This is not just about Andrew being proactive, it is also about the university making those supports available, hence, my appreciation.

I can't count the number of Jesus' wonders and glory this year, as proclaimed in my church through my fireful and wonderful Pastor (Apostle) Oludotun OlogunebiOlogunebi. Watch out on this page for my yearly video 'Count Your Blessings' 🙏

Full Switch™️ Research Consultancy Programme 2024 | Code-Switch Consultants Recipients of this badge have successfully completed the 6-month Full Switch™ Research Consultancy Programme, a professional course designed to provide researchers with real-world consultancy experience. The Next President Mr. Peter Obi in Kaduna yesterday

Which Thomas is still there doubting?

The part he asked the body guards to leave him alone is the peak for me.

For the first time Nigeria will have a leader with VP who are not only intelligent but have at least a little human feelings for their fellow human beings
