Everybody wants a piece of the Cambridge SEMSoc pie! Up next we have Professor Bill Ribbans who will be taking us through ‘the impact of COVID-19 on sport’, a fascinating topic that he covers in his new book.

Professor Ribbans is a titan in the world of Sports Medicine having been involved in elite sport since 1981. He has looked after countless Olympic medalists throughout his illustrious career and we are very excited to be hosting him.

Dr Nicky Keay is a medical doctor specialising in exercise endocrinology and serves as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Medicine at University College London. Her clinical and research work focuses on endocrine health in exercisers, dancers, and athletes, particularly addressing relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S), as well as supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.

This talk is extremely useful for athletes aiming to enhance their performance and medical students interested in sports science!
