Are you passionate about drawing but not sure how to take your technique to the next level? Book a 1:1 session with me and you will learn the drawing skills that you can use for the rest of your life. One-on-one sessions are really effective because you will receive feedback according to your specific skill set. Even one or a short series of 1:1 sessions can equip you with the robust drawing skills that you can use to create still lifes and landscapes, cityscapes and seascapes.

Observational drawing workshop at the Grand Arcade in Cambridge - part of Cambridge Arts Festival and CamCreatives Art Show.
Drawing everyday objects using the principles of two-point perpective can open up many new creative avenues. I was truly impressed by enthusiam and determination of many young learners and adults who came to my drop-in workshop. Their drawings speak of their passion to create.
Here I address some of frequently asked questions in the workshop:
Do you teach art?
Yes!
Where do you teach it?
I'm self-employed and I teach 1:1 and group sessions. My booking calendar and more information about the types of art lessons that I teach is in my LinkTree on my profile page

Have you always wanted to learn how to draw objects around you but didnβt know how to start? I will be running an βObservational drawing' workshop at Grand Arcade (Cambridge, UK) on the 17th of February between 10am and 4pm and will guide you through the main principles of drawing a still life composition. Together, we will be drawing objects such as mugs and fruit and shading them with led or colour pencils. In this workshop, you will learn about:
1. Principles of 2-point perspective
2. Using oval shapes of various widths to create an illusion of a 3-dimensional object drawn a 2-dimentional surface
3. Understanding how to position diagonal, horizontal and vertical lines on the page to create an illusion of space.
Whether you are new to drawing realistic still life compositions or would like to spend time to hone your skills further, this workshop is for you.

Teaching Russian is this weird and wonderful thing I started doing when I moved to Sydney in 2011. The idea came from my brother's friend. She said that she posted an ad on gumtree that she was teaching Russian and someone contacted her. I did the same. A couple of days later a physics professor from one of the major Australian universities contacted me and we scheduled a lesson. That's how it all began. It's been more than 10 years since I started teaching Russian and it's been an amazing experience all around. It brought many wonderful people into my life.
