π Wellbeing Wednesdayπ
Worries about money can affect the wellbeing of the whole family.
If you're finding things difficult, please remember that support is available.
Visit the councilβs webpages for advice about support available. There are several organisations can help you access advice, financial support, food assistance, or family services.
Asking for help is a positive step and a sign of strength.

π§ͺScience Fair 2026 β Reminder!π₯Ό
Our Science Fair is fast approaching and we can't wait to see the amazing ideas our young scientists come up with!
Key Dates:
πΉ In-school presentations and judging: Friday 3rd July
πΉ Science Fair Showcase: Friday 10th July
Why not take a look through the photos from our recent Science Day for inspiration? The activities, investigations and experiments we explored together could be the perfect starting point for a project of your own.
Last year, our children amazed us with a fantastic range of projects, including:
-Colour mixing investigations
-Exploring how sunscreen protects us from UV light
-Water cycle models and demonstrations
-Crystal-growing experiments
Remember, projects can be simple, creative or practical.
The best projects are often those that start with a simple question and show curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking.
Not sure where to start? Encourage your child to speak to their teacher or Mrs McLachlanβwe would be delighted to help them develop an idea and get started.
We can't wait to see what our Marleigh scientists discover this year!

π Wellbeing Wednesday π
Life can be busy, but sharing a meal together as a family, even just a few times a week, can have a positive impact on children's wellbeing.
Family mealtimes provide an opportunity to talk, listen and reconnect. This week, try putting any screens to one side, and enjoy some uninterrupted family conversation.
Check out some health-boosting recipe ideas to enjoy while you catch up.

π Every School Day Counts! π
Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in a child's success at primary school. When children attend school consistently, they build strong friendships, develop confidence, and stay on track with their learning.
Missing just a few days can mean missing valuable lessons, activities, and opportunities to grow. By making attendance a priority, we help our children develop positive habits that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.
Let's work together to ensure every child has the best chance to learn, achieve, and thrive. π

This week, the children in Butterflies Class have thoroughly enjoyed designing and making their own rockets as part of our 3D Shape Unit in Maths.
Today, they took their learning outside for a very exciting rocket launch with Mrs DJ and Mrs Parker! The children were especially proud to write their own invitations to invite Mrs Parker along to the launch.
We were so impressed with the childrenβs creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the project and they really enjoyed seeing how high their rockets flew! ππ
