CONGRATULATIONS YEAR 11!
At Cambourne Village College, we are delighted with the success of our Year 11 students who have achieved brilliantly well. This morning, many of their teachers and support staff really enjoyed celebrating with them as they came to collect results, and to share their feelings of pride in seeing their efforts pay off, and excitement about their next steps.
Zunaira, who achieved nine Grade 9s, said, ‘I’m truly so happy seeing these results – I did not expect them! I’m so grateful to all my teachers for supporting me throughout the year; I truly appreciate all the help.’
Roman, whose results included three Grade 8s, a Grade 7 and two Grade 6s, having really turned his time at school around, said, ‘Words can’t describe how happy I am with my results. I would like to thank everyone who believed in me throughout.’
Head Prefect, Joseph, said, ‘Cambourne equipped me with all the skills and experiences I could have wished for. I am so grateful for all the opportunities that I’ve been given and could not be happier with my results.’ A***n is pictured with him here, who, with his five Grade 9s and four Grade 8s, said, ‘I never realised how much Cambourne VC meant to me until these final weeks in Year 11. I’m super happy with my results and look forward to Sixth Form!’
We are tremendously proud of all of our students, and excited to see all that they will achieve as they go on to take their next steps – both those who are continuing their studies with us at Cambourne Sixth Form, and those who are taking up places elsewhere.
