🏃‍♀️🏔️ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT! 🏔️🏃‍♀️

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Nexus student Senara B, who has been competing at the world-famous UTMB Mont Blanc race week in Chamonix! 🇫🇷✨

After taking part in a TrailFam training run through Nexus, Senara was invited to join the TrailFam race team and travel to Chamonix on an incredible HOKA-sponsored trip. 🙌

And what a way to make the most of the opportunity! 🤩

Senara finished an incredible 9th female in the UTMB YCC Minime race — her first international race!

Then, as if that wasn't impressive enough...

🔥 She raced again the very next day in the UTMB YCC The Revenge Minime and finished 8th female!

We are SO proud of Senara and everything she has achieved. 💚 What an amazing experience, and what an incredible journey from a school training run to competing on the international stage! 🌍🏃‍♀️

A huge congratulations, Senara! We can't wait to hear all about your experience when you're back!

What an extraordinary set of results for Nexus! 🎓💙

Our Nexus Academic Pathway has once again demonstrated what our most able students can achieve, with an incredible:

🌟 86% of all grades at grade 7 or above
🏆 181 grade 9s across the two Year 11 Nexus cohorts

These results are a fantastic reflection of the ambition, determination and hard work shown by our Nexus students throughout their time at CSIA.

📚 A truly remarkable achievement!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Chloe E in Year 10, who has become the very first student to complete our 50 Books to Read Before Leaving Nexus challenge. 🌟

This isn't just a reading list—it's a journey through some of the world's most influential, thought-provoking and enduring books. The challenge encourages students to discover new authors, explore different perspectives and develop a lifelong love of reading.

Completing all 50 books is no small feat. It takes commitment, curiosity and a genuine passion for learning, and Chloe has demonstrated all of these in abundance.

Her achievement is a fantastic milestone, not only for herself but for our whole school community, and we hope it inspires many more students to take on the challenge.

🔬🧬 Celebrating Our IRIS Student Researchers! 🧬🔬

Today, we were proud to recognise the outstanding achievements of our IRIS Student Researchers.

Through our co-curricular programme, these students have gone beyond the classroom to contribute to genuine scientific research, developing the curiosity, resilience and analytical skills that underpin real-world discovery.

Taking part in IRIS projects gives our students the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research, think like scientists and make meaningful contributions to the wider scientific community—an incredible achievement at school age.

A huge congratulations to every student recognised today. Your enthusiasm for discovery and commitment to research are truly inspiring, and we can't wait to see where your scientific journeys take you next! 🌟👏

🌟 Year 12 Progression & Activities Week 🌟

Students from the Sixth Form and CSMS began their UCAS journey this week, with Monday and Tuesday dedicated to intensive personal statement support from tutors and the Sixth Form team, helping students reflect on their achievements and aspirations for the future.

The rest of the week was a chance to relax a little, with a range of activities including beach trips, woodland walks, a sports extravaganza, board game tournaments, TikTok holiday planning, Great British bake off and a polymer clay jewellery workshop.

Thank you, Year 12, for a brilliant week and brilliant year so far! We are incredibly proud of your hard work, enthusiasm and achievements, and look forward to supporting you through your final week before the summer break.
