⚽️ U15 Girls | National Cup 🏆

A narrow 1–0 defeat to Richard Lander in a really close and competitive National Cup fixture.
The girls battled hard throughout and produced a strong performance in a game where there was very little between the two sides. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the goal to get us back into the game.

Lots of positives to take from the performance — well done, girls! 👏⚽️
On to the next one! 💪

🎾 What an achievement for Evelyn! 🎾

We’re delighted to share that Evelyn once again represented Cornwall Tennis at the County Cup competition last weekend.
Over two full days, the team of four girls competed in singles and doubles matches against Oxfordshire, the Channel Islands, Devon and Somerset.

Cornwall finished an impressive third, with Evelyn contributing four wins across her singles and doubles matches! 👏🎾

Evelyn showed fantastic skill, fighting spirit and composure throughout some incredibly tight matches — a real reward for all the hard work and dedication she has been putting into her training.
Well done, Evelyn! We’re incredibly proud of you! 🌟🎾

🏏 What a season for Jenson! 🏏
We’re incredibly proud to share Jenson’s fantastic achievements in cricket this year. As captain of Camborne Cricket Club U15s, Jenson has had an outstanding season, winning both the Batting Cup and Bowling Cup. 🏆🏆

He has also taken the most wickets in his league group, making it a truly memorable season for both Jenson and his team. 🎯👏
Alongside his club cricket, Jenson also represents Cornwall, and we’re delighted to announce that he has been selected as part of a 15-player U15 squad travelling to Sri Lanka in February to represent Cornwall. 🇱🇰🏏

A fantastic achievement and a wonderful reward for all his hard work, commitment and passion for the game.
Well done, Jenson — we’re incredibly proud of you! 🌟🏏

⚽🏆 The CSIA Primary Alliance is back! 🏆⚽

What a fantastic start to this year’s Primary Alliance programme!

We kicked things off with our Year 3/4 Boys’ Football event, and what an afternoon of football it was! 👏 The children showed fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout. A huge well done to Trevithick School on securing the win! 🏆⚽

Then it was over to St Meriadoc School for our annual Playground Leaders session. Our young Sports Leaders were absolutely fantastic, developing their leadership skills and helping to create fun, active opportunities for the younger children to enjoy at break and lunchtime. 🌟

A brilliant first day for the CSIA Primary Alliance — we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings! 🙌

⚽ U13 National Cup – Match Report ⚽
Yesterday our U13 girls took on Newquay Tretherras in the National Cup, battling right until the final whistle.
Although the girls came away with a 4–1 defeat, they can be incredibly proud of their performance. They contested for every ball from start to finish, kept their heads up and showed a superb attitude and team spirit throughout. 💪⚽
⭐ Goal: Lily D. with a fantastic free-kick goal in the second half!
🧤 Special mention: Mandipa stepped into goal for the first time and made some super saves, showing great courage and determination.
🏆 Player of the Match: Naya T. — thoroughly deserved for her effort and performance.

Most importantly, the girls finished the game with high spirits and plenty of pride. The result didn’t reflect the heart, effort and determination they showed on the pitch.
Well done, girls! Keep believing, keep working and keep enjoying your football! 💙⚽👏
