We are SO PROUD of our amazing Y5/6 class for their incredible performance of ‘Simba’s Tale’. They have worked so hard, shown great resilience and they all put on a truly spectacular show for everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🦁👑 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful trip St Ives where we visited the Tate and Barbara Hepworth gallery and museum. The children loved seeing the sculptures that they had studied in class and there was lots of discussion about which ones inspired their own work. We finished the day with a trip to the beach.

Lovely Gifts Coming Home Today!

We’re delighted to share that some wonderful gifts will be coming home with children today.

📚 For our Key Stage 2 children
The National Literacy Trust in Cornwall have very kindly gifted two books for each child to take home and enjoy. We hope these will inspire lots of reading over the coming weeks!

🌿 For children who attended the Glendurgan trip
The National Trust have gifted a Next Generation Nature Pass to each child.

Valid until June 2027
Admits 5 people (2 adults + 3 children or 1 adult + 4 children)
Can be used at any National Trust property

This is a fantastic opportunity for family days out—there are lots of activities coming up, or you might choose to save it for a summer visit, October half term or even a Christmas outing.

We have some very exciting news from our nursery playground!

A pigeon chose to build her nest in one of our trees, and the children have loved watching what has been happening. When she briefly flew off, we had a quick peek and saw that she was carefully looking after two eggs. The children have been brilliant—showing real care by staying calm and quiet when they are nearby so they don’t disturb her.

We are now delighted to share that the eggs have hatched, and there are two baby pigeons (squabs) in the nest!

The children are fascinated and have shown such respect for the wildlife around them. It has been a wonderful real-life learning opportunity, helping them to understand how to care for living things while observing nature up close.

We are all looking forward to continuing to follow their journey as they grow and eventually fledge! 🌿✨
