The children in Releath have continued their growing journey and have now harvested their spring onions. Many of the children had never tasted them before and enjoyed their 'spicy' taste. They still have beetroot, broad beans, potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes and carrots to go!

The children in Releath had a wonderful time this week taking part in a range of storytelling activities with The National Literacy Trust. First they took part in a live event with schools from across the country and used their imaginations to turn sticks into different objects, such as instruments and vehicles. In the afternoon Jo Knuckey, the literacy project manager for our area, facilitated a session for parents, discussing the importance of story telling in building children's language development. It was lovely to be joined by Little Beebles and other families from within the local area.
