Good luck to the wonderful Project Officer, Nina, from National Literacy Trust as she starts an exciting new chapter supporting Early Years trainees.
Nina(and Jo!)has been a valued part of Camborne Nursery School, regularly visiting us to deliver engaging workshops and supporting our Stay and Play sessions. Nina's passion, positivity and dedication to promoting early literacy have made a real difference to our children and families.

Aldi in Camborne have a fun afternoon coming up!

Over the school term, some of our children enjoyed a trip to Aldi to help choose our healthy snacks for the week.

Giving the children the opportunity to be involved in choosing their own snacks encourages independence, decision making, communication, and an understanding of healthy food choices. They loved looking around the shop, talking about the different fruits and vegetables, and helping to decide what everyone would enjoy.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents and carers for your kind snack donations. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helps us continue to provide a variety of healthy snacks for the children each week. We are grateful for your ongoing support.

We headed out into our local community for a fantastic visit to Tolvaddon Fire Station!
The children had an amazing time meeting the firefighters, exploring the fire engine, and learning all about the important role they play in keeping our community safe. They loved trying on some of the equipment, asking lots of brilliant questions, and even having a turn with the fire hose!

A huge thank you to everyone at Tolvaddon Fire Station for making us feel so welcome and for giving our children such a fun, hands on learning experience. Community visits like these, help bring learning to life and create memories that will last for a long time.

Our children across the nursery enjoyed a very special end of term treat as Squashbox Theatre came to visit!
There were smiles, laughter and lots of excitement as everyone was captivated by the wonderful performance. The children loved joining in and were thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Squashbox Theatre for bringing so much fun and laughter to our nursery. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of another fantastic school year together.

National Literacy Trust are at Camborne Park tomorrow, free gifting of a book. 10-11 🙂

Our amazing Literacy Champions, Adam and Amy, will be gifting the book, 'The Dinos on the Bus', at their free and relaxed dad's group session this Sunday 26 July from 10-11am in Camborne Park.

It's going to be ROARsome🦕

What a wonderful way to end another fantastic year at Camborne Nursery School.

A huge thank you to all our amazing families for your thoughtful cards, gifts and kind words, they are so appreciated. A special thank you also for the generous donations of books for our children's library. We can't wait to enjoy reading them together in the new school year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Leavers Celebration. It was so lovely to come together to celebrate our amazing children as they take their next exciting steps.

We'd also like to wish Emma and Della a very happy retirement. Thank you both for your years of dedication, care and the difference you've made to so many children and families. You will be greatly missed.

Good luck to Jessie, Lauren, Emma, Yasmin & Demie as they move on to their next supply roles. We wish you every success and happiness in your new adventures!

Have a wonderful, safe and sunny summer holiday. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September!

We know that changes in routine can make the summer holidays feel a little bit tricky at times...that's why this summer we are delighted to share our 'Camborne Reads' itinerary🌞

On the following dates, we will be holding free, relaxed storytime and book gifting sessions in different parks and green spaces across Camborne.

We know that lots of families have different commitments and routines, so we have varied the days and times to make these sessions as accessible as possible.

As with all of our activities, there's no need to book, just turn up and join us, and don't worry if you arrive after the advertised start time, everyone is welcome at any time.

What a fantastic day we had at St Ives Beach!

We started with a train ride to the seaside before enjoying a fun filled day on the sand.
The children loved building sandcastles, jumping the waves, listening to stories, taking part in parachute games, and joining in with an exciting treasure hunt! There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of wonderful memories made throughout the day.
A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make the day special.
We hope you all had as much fun as we did!
