Crawley Play is thriving with active play and creativity. We'd like to thank you for your donations. Our sandpit is a hit with students! The generous sand donation filled our new area and it did not take long at all for our students to start digging. Add in a new mix of ocean themed 'Enchanted Garden' accessories, new slate, Astro turf and large shells, and the children have created a whole new resort. If you head towards the field, the children are constantly moving and adapting the 'Little Tikes' structures. We now have a train to take us on adventures. Our new scooters are on the playground too!

🎼CRJS has celebrated our truly talented musicians and singers this evening at our Summer Music Concert. They have worked with tremendous dedication to rehearse their pieces and bravely performed on stage to family and friends. They astounded their audience with their skills and have so much to be proud of tonight. Congratulations!

Yesterday morning, Maple and Chestnut class took part in a First Aid training session. They listened with great care and learnt about each step needed for CPR and how to move a person into a recovery position. We would like to thank Mr Tugwell, a paramedic and nurse, for providing us with these invaluable life skills. We have no doubt that our learners will be testing all they meet on the emergency numbers for the UK and Europe.

Sports Day has been a huge success. It was wonderful watching the children working as a team, being resilient and showing fantastic sportsmanship. Thank you to Miss Scrivener for arranging our afternoon. Also, thank you to pupils from Kings International College for supporting our events and our volunteers (staff past and present) today. Well done Crawley Ridge. You should be immensely proud of yourselves. Congratulations to Frimley Hall House!

Where would you like to explore next? What time of year would you like to repeat this search? Would your findings be the same or different? 🐌🦋🪱

Crawley Play has just picked up a Little Tikes play castle and a wishing well planter to add to the creative opportunities for our pupils during lunch time. If you have a slide or similar Little Tikes style cube or a low climb item, it may be perfect for Crawley play. The Out n About off road buggy is very popular too. Ours needs a new inner tube at the moment, but we are sure it will be back on the field soon. Just let us know if you have an item that could enhance our play. Thank you for the donations: w**d membrane, enchanted garden accessories, dance pom poms, percussion toys, spades as well as sandpit toys, offcuts of artificial grass, car seat and mud kitchen pans. It brings so much enjoyment to our students and they are learning how generous their community is.

Year 6 had a lovely start to the day with their first SATs breakfast. Well done on your attitude and positivity as you took on the first papers. We will see you tomorrow for day two 😃
