A NEW NAME. THE SAME PASSION FOR FLYING.

Blackbushe Aviation is now Blackbushe Flight Training. If you're one of our existing students, don't worry. Apart from the name and a fresh new look, very little is changing.

You'll still be flying the same aircraft, learning from the same instructors and booking your lessons with the same team.

So why the change?

Quite simply, Blackbushe Flight Training better describes who we are and what we do.

For years we've helped people experience the thrill of their first flight, gain their Private Pilot Licence and build confidence in the cockpit. Increasingly though, we're also supporting students who want to take aviation much further.

Through our modular training pathway, more and more students are choosing Blackbushe as the place to begin their journey towards a professional flying career. From that very first trial lesson, through the PPL and beyond, we're helping aspiring commercial pilots take the next steps towards the flight deck.

Our new name reflects that broader role.

A FAMILIAR SCHOOL WITH A FRESH LOOK

The new branding forms part of Blackbushe Airport's wider family of brands, bringing the airport, the flying school, the Pathfinder Café and our operational teams together under a consistent identity.

While the airport has adopted a new copper and black colour palette inspired by its future development, we've deliberately kept the navy and pink colours that have become synonymous with the flying school over the years.

It's recognisably Blackbushe Flight Training, but it should still feel reassuringly familiar.

FOR OUR CURRENT STUDENTS

Your training continues exactly as before.

There's nothing you need to do, and nothing about your course changes because of the new name.

Whether you're preparing for your first solo, working towards your skills test or progressing through your commercial training, you'll continue your journey with the same instructors and the same support you've always received.

LOOKING AHEAD

This is an exciting time for both the flying school and the airport.

As Blackbushe continues to invest in its future, we're proud to be growing alongside it. Our aim remains exactly the same: to provide high-quality, professional flight training in an environment where people can enjoy learning, develop their skills and achieve their ambitions.

ACCESS TO BLACKBUSHE AIRPORT

The A30 is still closed past Blackbushe as Firefighters continue to monitor the heathland fire to the south.

There is still access to Blackbushe from the roundabout at Cricket Hill, proceed with caution past the roadblock.

Do not go past the Blackbushe entrance.

For generations, Blackbushe Airport has been evolving while remaining true to its heritage.

On Tuesday 14 July, we'll be unveiling the next chapter in that story.

We can't wait to share it with you.
