The children loved visiting all the places and exploring all areas meeting up with other childminders and their children.

It’s the time of year to say goodbye to our leavers and also a family that is moving house.
It was very sad to say goodbye to the families that we have got to know over the years.
It’s been a pleasure looking all of the children some of them since babies and watching them grow into little people with lovely personalities.
We had a great leavers BBQ at home, with all the children and their parents, full of games, food and plenty of fun

Today we visited Grays farm. Very sad to hear it’s their last season doing pick your own. But we all had a good, but hot morning.

A trip to the new forest last month, in a mini bus that we hired for the day….a day of fun in the water, picnic, seeing ponies and for some a ride in the mini bus was enough 😂

We have come to the end of our under the sea theme we have

Our theme this month has been under the sea
We have learnt about the life under the sea, the children have loved it. But we have also kept all the children safe in this extreme heat, going out in the morning, for water play, then indoors with fans for the afternoons for quiet activities. With a treat in the hot tub for a couple of them.

Our theme this month has been healthy eating , learning about
🍍Fruit
🥦Vegetables
🥤Drinks
🪏How things grow underneath and on top of the ground .

We weighed different fruit and Veg to see what weighed the heaviest and the lightest .

We also tried cutting up the fruit and vegetables with especially adapted knives for the children . We have some good little chefs in the making .

Also enjoying the weather at the local parks and the garden , practising their gross motor skills and coordination .
