Last months theme was transport and differnt jobs that people do .
We have some fantastic parents that joined in and showed the children different aspects of their job

🚘 we visited a mechanic, he talked to us all and allowed the children to watch a car on the ramp, we learnt about and held some of the tools
🚓 we visited the local police station, sat in a police van and car, tried on some hats and held a shield and baton. We also got to press the sirens! Mac the police dog also came to see us
👩‍⚕️a nurse came to visit us at home, she talked to us about germs and how to wash hands properly. Also we talked about healthy eating, what is good and bad for us. We also were able to hear each others hearts through a stethoscope
⛵️we visited Hawley lake, went for a ride on the safety boat, talked about safety on the water, fed the swans, looked at where they lived, the children all received a certificate

Again thankyou for all the parents that took time out of their day, allowed us to see what they do for their job.

Fabulous day out at Marwell zoo to further develop the children’s knowledge on zoo animals which has been their theme this month
