This year, our Summer Fun Day had a little extra magic as we created Lyndfest! đś
What started as a vision from our incredible Music Captain became a realityâa festival-inspired school fair filled with fantastic live music, delicious food, laughter, and fun for everyone.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, performed, volunteered, and helped make the day so special. It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate the end of the Summer Term in true style.

A week to remember in Wales đ
Our much-anticipated Year 6 residential is always a highlight of the school year and this year was no exception. From water sports to confidence-building challenges, the children pushed themselves, supported one another and grew in independence â all set against the backdrop of a stunning scenic valley.
Experiences like this help shape the resilience, teamwork and positive attitude theyâll need as they take their next big step into secondary school.

đ Cambridge are Sports Day Champions once again! đ
A huge congratulations to Cambridge for securing the Sports Day trophy for the second year in a row! Their teamwork, determination and house spirit shone from start to finish.
It was a fantastic day of sport, competition and encouragement. Whether athletics is their strength or not, every pupil took part with enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship, making the day a wonderful celebration for all.
Thank you to all of our staff, families and supporters who helped make it such a success. Thank you to our FOL (Friends of Lyndhurst) for providing the refreshing ice lollies and drinks which were enjoyed by all!

Little Lyndhurst enjoyed a fun Gruffalo trail afternoon, with support from staff who helped bring the adventure to life by giving clues along the way. The children explored outdoors as they followed the trail, using their imagination, curiosity and teamwork to solve each part of the journey.
It was a wonderful hands-on experience full of excitement and smiles, helping to build confidence, communication skills and a love of storytelling through play.

We are delighted to share that our Year 3 & 4 production of Matilda the Musical has received an Honourable Mention for Best Musical Production at the ISA Drama Competition 2026.
The judges described the production as âa charming and heartwarming productionâ and praised many of the childrenâs individual performances, including:
* Elodie as âMatildaâ, for a very touching performance
* Emilia as âMiss Honeyâ, for strong projection and commitment in spoken scenes
* Thea as âMiss Trunchbullâ, for a wonderfully characterised performance
* Finn as âBruceâ, for a lovely performance in the cake scene
They also highlighted the ensembleâs excellent mime work, timing and commitment in the âfirst day of schoolâ scene, alongside a particularly enjoyable final choreography.
We are incredibly proud of all the children involved and so grateful to Miss Jervis and all staff who supported the production throughout.
What a wonderful achievement for Team Lyndhurst!

Our children enjoyed a fascinating visit to St Michaelâs Church in Camberley for a wonderful history workshop. They explored the beautiful stained glass windows, discovered the meaning behind symbols found around the church, learnt about the font used for baptisms and even had the opportunity to experience bell ringing whilst learning about its rich history and tradition.
Being in the heart of Camberley allows our learning to go far beyond the classroom walls, and we are proud of the strong community links that help bring learning to life in such meaningful and memorable ways.

Our Year 1 and 2 children had a wonderful day exploring the magnificent Arundel Castle! From discovering history within the castle walls to immersing themselves in hands-on learning experiences, the trip truly brought their learning to life.
At Lyndhurst, we believe that bringing learning to life through experience is key, and our children benefit from termly trips and workshops that enrich the curriculum, inspire curiosity, and create lasting memories.
