💫 We’re so pleased to share that Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has been shortlisted for a Student Nursing Times Award 2026, in the Nurse Education Provider of the Year (Post‑Registration) category. 💫

The shortlist recognises our university‑accredited post‑registration modules which brings together high‑quality teaching, restorative clinical supervision and individualised academic support.

Our modules are led by experienced, specialist FHFT clinicians working closely with the education team. Learners consistently tell us they feel more confident, supported and able to work effectively within their teams as a result of studying.

We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted. This recognition reflects the commitment, care and hard work of the whole team, who continue to create high‑quality learning opportunities that support our staff and, ultimately, the care we provide to our patients.

Happy KNOWvember25

Knowledge mobilisation is about bridging the gap between what we know and what we do. It’s the process of sharing and using research, best practice, and knowledge gained through experience.

The KM Skills Sprint introduces a range of tools and techniques to help healthcare professionals make the most of research evidence and knowledge in their daily practice.

Each activity takes under 10 minutes and will help you to develop your skills and knowledge about using evidence and sharing knowledge effectively!

Today at our Albany Park Education Centre we have had the pleasure of welcoming over 50 colleagues from FHFT and neighbouring trusts to our Acute Oncology Conference. Our key takeaway message is that acute oncology is truly everyone's responsibility in healthcare, with 1 in 2 people in the UK likely to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

A huge thank you to the brilliant Lara for leading the day, to all our speakers, and to our sponsors MSD for their support.

Wishing the outstanding AOS team at FHFT the best of luck for their upcoming nomination at the Nursing Times Awards next month!
