I’m incredibly honoured to be teaming up with Aerobility Charity to host an extraordinary afternoon of aviation, adventure and inspiration — all in aid of raising £50,000 for this incredible charity.

On 1st November 2026, I’ll be taking to the stage at London’s Royal Geographical Society, alongside John Romain MBE, Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible stunt pilot, and John McFall, Paralympic medallist, surgeon, private pilot and ESA astronaut reserve — sharing stories of extraordinary flying, resilience and pushing the limits of what’s possible.

I’ll also be taking you behind the scenes of my own Atlantic adventure, including the weather, decision-making, ice and challenges that don’t always make it onto camera.

Last night Eleanor's Voice took to the stage at the British Aviation Group Dinner to represent Aerobility and tell her story about living with a visual impairment, and what it meant to her and her family when she was given the opportunity to take to the skies and fly an aeroplane with Aerobility.

She had the whole room captivated and quiet as she shared her story, and at the end she received a well-deserved standing ovation.

A huge thank you to the British Aviation Group for inviting us and for giving Eleanor and Aerobility the space to be heard and to share what we do.

The Adventure of Flight - An afternoon of inspiring talks from intrepid aviators, not to be missed!!

The afternoon promises to be a true celebration of aviation and the adventure that it can provide.

There is still time to apply for our Cornwall Flying Scholarship with our partners Flynqy Pilot Training.

Created to make aviation more accessible to people living with disabilities in Cornwall and the surrounding area, this fully funded opportunity offers two levels:

🛩️ Beginner Scholarship
A 50-minute flight experience from Cornwall Airport Newquay, designed for those who have never flown in a light aircraft before.

🛩️ Intermediate Scholarship
Three hours of fully funded flight training for those who have already experienced light aircraft flying and want to progress in their aviation journey.

The scholarship has a particular focus on supporting people with physical disabilities, but applications are also welcomed from other eligible members of the local community, including people living with hidden disabilities, disabled ex-Forces personnel and children and adults living with terminal illnesses in Cornwall.

Whether you simply want to experience the freedom of flight or you've always dreamed of learning to fly, this could be your opportunity to take that first, or next, step into aviation.

Recently, Mark Long Trust funded the very first Junior Aviation Course at Aerobility’s outreach site, FlyNQY Pilot Training, based at Cornwall Airport Newquay.

Packed full of aviation-focused experiences, practical lessons and STEM learning, the course gave participants the opportunity to discover just how many exciting pathways there are within the aviation industry.

From flight simulators and learning the basics of flying, to putting those new skills into practice with the incredible opportunity to take to the skies for real flights, it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Funding from organisations such as Mark Long Trust enables us not only to continue delivering these inspiring programmes, but also to expand their reach and bring the opportunities they create to even more young disabled people across the country.
