We are so pleased for Aerobility volunteer Scott who has just passed his PPL Skills Test with Blackbushe Flight Training.

Scott won our Volunteer of the year award last year at our Aviators Ball. He is well known and loved by many Aerobility regulars at Blackbushe Airport and can often be found either fixing simulators or helping others have a great experience.

Well done Scott from all of us at Aerobility! We hope you enjoy your shiny new licence ✈️

Congratulations to Scott who has passed his PPL Skill Test with us this afternoon. Best of luck with all of your future flying!

NATS continue to be incredible supporters of Aerobility, and we're so grateful for their commitment to our mission.

Their recent involvement in our Aspire-Ability programme has been invaluable.

Two employees from NATS delivered an engaging online careers talk, giving participants an insight into the wide range of roles available at NATS and demonstrating how inclusion is embedded across the organisation.

NATS also supported the programme's industry visit, welcoming participants behind the scenes at Birmingham International Airport's air traffic control tower. Providing a truly unforgettable experience and a fascinating insight into the world of air traffic control.

These experiences left our participants feeling inspired, motivated and more confident as they begin to explore their future career aspirations and for that we are eternally grateful.

Aspire-Ability is still accepting applications! If you're aged 12–18, have a disability, and are ready to explore the world of aviation, visit our website to find out more. www.aerobility.com/aspire-ability

A huge thank you goes to Farnborough Aerospace Consortium - FAC and Owen Daniels for visiting Aerobility HQ yesterday to present us with an incredible cheque for £11,826!

We are unbelievably grateful for this amazing donation, which was raised through their annual charity golf day held at the wonderful Skylark Golf and Country Club earlier in the year.

This generous contribution will provide a real boost to our mission, helping us continue to create life-changing opportunities through the magic of flight.

To everyone involved in organising, participating, and supporting the day, we thank you. Your generosity will have a lasting impact, not only putting fuel in our aeroplanes and people in the sky, but it will also put smiles on faces across the disability community.

What a week at ! ✈️

From watching incredible flying displays and talking with the teams at Vertical Aerospace Ltd., Joby Aviation, Eve Air Mobility, and BETA TECHNOLOGIES, to discussing the future of accessible and sustainable aviation, it was a week packed with inspiration.

A real highlight was meeting hundreds of young people at Pioneers of Tomorrow Day, where we shared Aerobility's mission through our Groblin STEM trainer and championed the importance of designing accessibility and inclusivity into the future of aviation.

A huge thank you to everyone we met along the way, and also to those who enabled us to be represented at the event. We're already looking forward to FIA 2028!

We want to say a huge congratulations to Jacob who achieved a major milestone in his pilot training today by completing his first solo flight at Aerobility Blackbushe! Jacob made full use of the glorious weather and with a support team on the ground, took to the skies on his own for the very first time. Onwards and upwards Jacob, we can't wait to see what you go on to achieve next!
