Meet Kai, Assistant Centre Manager at Mathnasium of Frimley.

Having experienced learning from both sides as a tutor and a tutee, Kai understands how much difference the right teaching approach can make.

Kai is passionate about adapting learning to suit each student and helping maths feel less intimidating. The aim is to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence.

Outside the centre, Kai loves cooking, drawing, painting and music, although the cats occasionally try to contribute to the wet paintings.

Two important facts: Kai can bake an incredible lemon drizzle cake and ride a motorbike.

A new maths learning centre is coming to Frimley.

Mathnasium of Frimley will provide personalised maths tuition for children aged 5 to 16 from across Frimley and the surrounding Surrey communities.

Meet Aqil, Centre Manager at Mathnasium of Frimley.

Aqil graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London and is passionate about helping children enjoy maths as well as succeed in it.

He loves that maths can be both logical and creative and enjoys finding different ways to approach a problem until it finally clicks for a student.

His goal is to make maths engaging, build confidence and help students develop problem-solving skills they can use far beyond the classroom.

Outside the centre, Aqil enjoys playing and watching tennis, travelling and learning more about aviation.

We are a maths-only learning centre for children aged 5 to 16.

Every student begins with an assessment so we can understand what they already know, where they may need support and what they are ready to learn next.
