We wish you all a lovely Summer Break, wish all our Year 6's the best to their forthcoming secondary schools and welcome, those returning, on Monday 5th September 2022.

Please remember hats, apply sun cream and bring in named water bottles. Children can wear PE kit or summer uniform until the end of term.
On very hot days, there will be no daily mile and children will be encouraged to be in the shade or indoors and in the cool as much as possible. 😎
A very big thank you to our parents, Mrs. Hage & Mrs. McCormack for making this stunning & personalised 4 tier cake for our Year 6's Red Carpet Day. (They loved the surprise in the middle!)

The Year 6's have had a fun filled day starting off with the Red Carpet Event where each child received a graduation certificate, a year group photo and a personalised tea towel on behalf of FOG, thank you! And then sang for their parents/carers.

The day carried on with various activities on the field, a bbq and are now watching a movie.

All the children look very smart in their outfits, they have made such an effort 👌
We have had the pleasure of Hannah, from Paintbox, this week assisting our Year 3's through their 'Rainforest Retreat' art project in conjunction with Delight.
All Year 3 parents/carers, please try to attend their exhibition, which will be on display for you on Monday 11th July at 2.50pm in their classrooms. You will be able to see the results of all their hard work!

We hope that you’ll enjoy reading the book with your child 📖

The Grove Year 5 & 6 netball team arrived at Connaught Junior School for the annual netball championship on Wednesday. Confidence was high after last years victory! With 10 schools participating in total, it certainly wasn't going to be easy to hold on to our trophy from last year!

The team stormed to victory in all their group games! Excellent teamwork, passing and shooting was on display... high tempo play was a standout feature of this well gelled team.

After topping the group, the Grove was pitted against the other groups winners in a championship final… and a great final kept all spectators entertained! The Grove team ended the game victorious with a 6 - 1 scoreline!

To win back-to-back championships is no mean feat and is testament to the teams' hard work, skill, and determination! Well done to all involved and maybe next year we can make it 3 championships in a row!

Your child can choose from drums, keyboard, lead electric guitar, bass guitar or vocals
iRock lessons are held during the school day
