I have been a childminder for nearly 30 years and have been graded by Ofsted as OUTSTANDING on numerous occasions. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I am a fully qualified first aider, and hold up to date safeguarding and food hygiene qualifications. I also attend regular courses and training which allows me to keep up to date with national standards. I regularly update my policies and procedure
s as well as risk assessments. I offer flexible hours (Monday - Friday) in a home from home environment. In addition to a well equipped indoor environment, I also have a fantastic outdoor area. I have also invested in soft play equipment which has proved a valued part of the setting. As well as offering many learning opportunities at home, I also take advantage of the local facilities available; including Penrith Library, local walks and parks.
