MHEC will be closed for the Easter long weekend, from Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th. School will resume on Tuesday, April 7th.

We hope your weekend is filled with chocolate, sunshine and time well spent with loved ones.

Mananstaneshuk Mamo Kapshewin is inviting community members to submit their ideas for a new logo design!

We are looking for a design that reflects our values, identity, and the spirit of Mananstaneshuk Mamo Kapshewin. This is a great opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to something meaningful for our community.

Oooohh BRRRRrr it’s pretty chilly 🥶 this morning! The Winter Carnival will still take place. We will monitor the temperature and wind and if need be move some activities outdoors. See you in the gym at 9:45 for team building ❄️. Please dress warmly.

Good morning MHEC families!! We're pleased to announce a new date for our Winter Carnival. Families are invited to join us on Thursday, March 26th (weather dependent). Unfortunately, there will be no alternate date if weather forces us to cancel. The following poster with schedule will be sent out with your child/ren today.

We hope that everyone enjoyed their March Break and are ready to return to school tomorrow. There are a lot of fun activities planned this week for our elementary students. We will be learning outdoor Indigenous games, pow wow dancing, enjoying a Winter Carnival and another bowling outing for our younger students.

Get a good sleep and we will see you all tomorrow morning.

Out of respect for the John-George and Ineese families, the Winter Carnival scheduled for Thursday, March 12th will be postponed until after the March break. We extend our condolences to the families touched by the loss.
