🔥 Today is Burns Awareness Day.

Burns can happen in seconds, whether from hot liquids, open flames, hot surfaces or electrical equipment. Knowing what to do immediately can make an important difference.

Remember: cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes, remove nearby clothing or jewellery where safe to do so, and cover the burn once cooled. Never apply ice, butter, oils or creams.

Knowing the right first aid could help you respond with confidence when it matters most. ⛑️

Wiltshire First Aid Training offers a Full 12-Hour Paediatric Blended First Aid Course, ideal for childminders, nursery staff and those working in early years settings.

The course meets Ofsted and EYFS requirements, with successful candidates receiving a certificate valid for three years. 👶
