Celebrating the Class of 2026 🎉
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our A Level students who have accomplished so much, both in and out of the classroom, during their time at Calne.
This year’s highlights:
🌟39% of pupils achieved straight A*/A
🌟29% of grades A*
🌟90% of grades A*-B
🌟65% of grades A*-A
🌟100% pass rate
While the headlines tell part of the story every individual result is a huge accomplishment.
Head, Mrs Anne Wakefield, said: ‘We are so proud of our 2026 Upper Sixth students. They worked incredibly hard and their results are testament to the dedication, passion for learning and tenacity that have been hallmark qualities of this cohort of students. They have embraced every opportunity during their time at St Mary’s and demonstrated in true spirit that ‘You Can at Calne.’
This year’s destinations include The University of Oxford University of St Andrews University College London Durham University University of Exeter The University of Edinburgh London School of Economics Imperial College London King's College London (King’s College London) as well as ESCP France and US universities: the The University Of Chicago (University of Chicago), Case Western Reserve (Case Western Reserve University, Ohio) and Tufts University 🐘 (Tufts University, Boston).
With an incredible range of courses and destinations ahead, we wish the Class of 2026 every success as they begin this exciting new chapter.
