Welcome to my page 🙂

I’m a Katharine Graves Hypnobirth teacher based in South East Cornwall.

I thought I would share my own experience of Hypnobirthing, please feel free to get in touch if you’re curious to find out more.

During my first pregnancy I was surprised by how nervous I felt. Coming from a farming background and a large family, I had always felt that procreating was in my blood. But actually when the time came I was scared and felt completely unprepared. I have an amazing network around me and yet still I wondered when I was going to feel ready for childbirth.
We booked onto a Hypnobirthing course and everything changed. All of my anxieties went quiet and were replaced with a calm confidence. A calm confidence that underpinned my whole experience of pregnancy and childbirth as well as into motherhood...... It has been the most amazing gift.
The planned home births we had for both our children took different paths than what we had hoped for. But the course had prepared us so beautifully, and we remained calm, confident and connected throughout the whole journey.
It is important to me to make sure that you understand that each birth is different, there is nothing we can do to guarantee a natural and swift birth. But we can prepare for every eventuality and help you feel confident and in control no matter which path your birth takes.
