We are exceptionally proud of our Key Stage 5 results - particularly so, of our students who have worked so incredibly hard over the last two years. Their determination, passion for their studies and chosen fields has been truly inspiring.
They have achieved a fantastic set of results, all reaching their chosen next pathway with an incredible number going on to university.
79% of results were A*, A and B grades, an improvement of 24% on last year's results.
They have been a truly exceptional cohort and we want to thank them for their brilliant contributions - you leave a lasting legacy and big shoes to fill!

Harry delivered a fantastic performance at the World Martial Arts British Championships this past weekend, earning an incredible four silver medals. It’s a brilliant achievement that reflects his hard work, discipline, and determination. Huge congratulations to him, we are very proud of him!

What a 'cool' way to end the week. Our C6 students have worked incredibly hard over the past couple of weeks with their exams, all while coping with the heat, so today our Head of Sixth Form treated them all to a well‑deserved Mr Whippy from Ben’s Ice Cream Van.

A huge thank you to Ben and his wife for taking the time to visit us and reward our students. The C6 cohort were genuinely grateful and thoroughly enjoyed their sweet treat.

The Upper Sixth stepped out in style for a wonderful social evening on Friday, dressed up and ready to celebrate the end of their Sixth Form journey.

It was the perfect way to head into the half‑term break — great food, lots of laughter, and a warm sense of togetherness as they marked this milestone.

Watching them enjoy an evening that reflected their spirit and camaraderie was a joy, and we wish them all the very best as they continue with the rest of their final exams. We are so proud of each and every one of them.

It's been a very busy few weeks in C6! Final exams, Prize Giving and Prom just to mention a few!

Prize giving is a moment to pause and truly celebrate the achievements and efforts of our sixth form students. Over the past two years, they’ve shown determination, resilience and a willingness to push themselves academically and personally.

This occasion allowed us to reflect not only on their results, but on the growth, character and commitment they’ve demonstrated throughout their time in sixth form.

It’s was a well earned opportunity to recognise how far they’ve come

We couldn’t be prouder of our Lower Sixth student, George, who ran his first ever half marathon in Plymouth on Sunday. Even more impressively, he was the fastest U20 runner, finishing in 1 hour, 20 minutes and 1 second.

Congratulations to our Year 12 Sixth Form student Harry for a very successful weekend at the WMAC English Championships in Worcester!

Harry brought home 5 medals in the following categories:

* GOLD in Hands only points.
* SILVER in Hands only points.
* 2 further SILVERS in Points fighting (one of them an adults' category)
* BRONZE in Points fighting

As we move closer to the GCSE examination period, we fully appreciate that students are focused on their upcoming finals and the important preparation taking place over the coming weeks.

At the same time, we would like to ensure that all students keep their post 16 options open as they consider the next steps in their education.
