Today we are celebrating the joy, colour and traditions of Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year. This special festival marks the beginning of a new year in the lunar calendar and is celebrated by millions of families around the world.

At nursery, the children have been busy:

🐲 Learning about dragons and traditional lion dances
🥢 Exploring Chinese culture through stories, music and creative play
🥠 Learning about and tasting some delicious Chinese foods

Today we say a heartfelt goodbye to Lauren, who is stepping away from their role as Nursery Manager after five years with us 💐

Lauren has been such a huge part of our nursery family. Their dedication, leadership, and genuine care for the children, families, and team have helped shape the nurturing, happy environment we’re so proud of.

While we are sad to see her go, we are so excited for the next chapter and wish her every success and happiness in whatever comes next.

Thank you, Lauren, for everything you’ve given to our nursery — you will be truly missed 💛

We had a wonderful morning with Farmer Emma! Moo Music Caldicot, Chepstow and Newport

We had a very special visitor to wish us a Merry Christmas, the children were all very happy to see big Maggie!

Christmas Party 🎄

What an incredible time we had at our Nursery Christmas Party today! 🎅✨ The little ones had a blast, from singing carols to festive magic tricks, and of course, meeting our amazing Balloon Man Tony Balloonman! 🎈🎨 He wowed us all with his incredible balloon creations – from reindeer to Santa , and even a donkey! 🎅🦌❄️

The children are now tucking into a wonderful party feast from Diane!
